steps to install the Java Embedding Plug-in 0.9.6.2 for firefox in Mac 10.5
If Java pluggings are missing then the workspace will not display properly, Missing java pluggins are installed for Mozilla browser to display the application properly.

1. The workplaces are not displayed properly



2. Quit any open mozilla session using the menu item: Mozilla -> Quit Mozilla



3.Download the Java embedding Plug-in:



4.In the downloaded directory go to the following location:
Download location --- Binaries --- ppc



5. Copy the two files JavaEmbeddingPlugin.bundle and MRJPlugin.plugin from this location to /Libraries/Internet Plug-Ins on the local system.



6. Update the timestamps of the following files at this location using the touch command:
a. Java Applet Plugin Enabler
b. Java Applet.plugin
c. JavaEmbeddingPlugin.bundle
d. MRJPlugin.plugin

From the terminal, execute the touch command as follows:

touch Java Applet Plugin Enabler
touch Java Applet.plugin
touch JavaEmbeddingPlugin.bundle
touch MRJPlugin.plugin

MRJPlugin.plugin should have the latest timestamp of these four files. Hence the touch command should be applied to this file after the timestamps of the other three files have been updated.



7. The plug-in is installed successfully:
Open a mozilla browser. Go to Help -> About Plug-ins



8.Workplaces are properly displayed in the workplaces tab in the mozilla browser after the plug-in has been installed:
